How You May Play a Part in Supporting the Jazzschool

In keeping with the tenor of Ms. Von Stade’s quote, the Jazzschool strives to impart the joy of music to students and our community by providing unique opportunities to study, perform and hear world-class jazz. You can play a part in enabling the Jazzschool to give an underprivileged student the chance of a lifetime to learn about and play music on or off site, offer a world-class concert series or enrich our community with the gift of music.

Only two-thirds of the funds necessary to operate the Jazzschool are earned through student tuition and other income. The remainder must come from individuals, corporations and foundations, all who share a love for music and the arts and realize the crucial role they play in forwarding our society. As both a jazz aficionado and someone who places a high value on cultivating the arts, we invite you to play a part by contributing to one of the Jazzschool’s various funds including its General Operating Fund, Scholarship Program, Youth Program or Concert Series.
